We leave Marrakech in the morning, driving south through Asni and the foothills of the High Atlas, with the snow-capped peaks of Toubkal National Park coming into view. On arrival in Imlil, we set off on foot through the valley, passing walnut and apple orchards, terraced fields, and small Berber hamlets connected by mule paths — the main means of transport in villages with no road access. Along the way, there's a chance to visit a local home for mint tea and see traditional mountain life up close. Lunch is taken at a guesthouse or terrace with valley views, before the return drive to Marrakech in the afternoon.
